Intro
Fio is a contemporary jewelry contest idealized by the jewelers Alice Floriano and Nina Lima, which emerged with the intention of mapping, stimulating and spreading the production of contemporary jewelry in Brazilian territory, aiming to give visibility to new talents and professionals in the area. In this second edition, the contest was expanded with the international category.
One of the premises of the competition is that the works must be original and unpublished. 

The jury of the second edition of the FIO was composed of Alice Floriano, Dan Piersinaru (Romania, Autor Fair and Magazine), Lucia Massei (Italy, Alchimia School), Ruudt Peters (Holland, MASierad) and Nina Lima (Estúdio Escambo) who selected the works through the criteria of originality, coherence with the theme proposed by the artist and technical quality.
