The Metalwork & Jewelry Award, hosted by Korea Zinc, recognizes two outstanding Korean metalwork and jewelry artists under the age of 45 who have consistently demonstrated the potential and vision of contemporary metalwork and jewelry for over a decade.

Yong Joo Kim, Jong seok Lim
This year, Yong Joo Kim and Jong Seok Lim were honored as the two exceptional recipients of the 2024 award. Their exceptional careers and significant contributions have brought Korean metalwork and jewelry to the forefront of the international stage, garnering widespread praise from both critics and the public.
To commemorate their achievements, a special exhibition celebrating the award recipients will be held.
Award ceremony: Wednesday, December 11, 2024, 5 PM.
Dates: December 11 to December 16, 2024, 10 AM to 7 PM.
About the Award
Established in 2013 to foster the growth of Korean contemporary metalwork and jewelry, < Metalwork & Jewelry Award> has been supported by Korea Zinc, a global leader in the non-ferrous metal industry. Since 2023, the company has directly organized this prestigious award’s judging process and related events. Through continuous awards and exhibitions, Korea Zinc supports the domestic crafts community and presents a new cultural development model by connecting businesses and cultural institutions.
To commemorate their achievements, a special exhibition celebrating the award recipients will be held.
