The future is here: a 3D printer lays layer after layer of material on top of each other, creating an object of ingenious complexity.

Ann Marie Shillito, jewellery artist, founder and managing director of Anarkik3D Ltd, Edinburgh and jewellery artist Birgit Laken have in co-laboration with GalerieV&V in Vienna brought together an exhibition titled "3D jewellery".
You can see works by Elizabeth Armour, Peggy Bannenberg, Ela Bauer, Mark Bloomfield, Maria Eife, Birgit Laken, Lynne McLachlan, Ann Marie Shillito, Kathy Vones, and Silvia Weidenbach.

Representing Austria are Stefan Neuwirth and ‘mostlikely’, and the 3D-printed winning designs from the international design contest "mypreciousplastics" from “mything”, the ‘international design to local fabrication’ platform.

During the Wiener Schmucktage a 3D digital modelling workshop will take place in the gallery 10 and 11 November with two awards to win. Tutors Ann Marie Shillito and Birgit Laken.
