The project began with making heart shaped sculptures in the wet sand by the waterside.The waves and the tide gradually changed and swept away the sculptures. I took pictures of this process and made a series of brooches based on these images. The photos and the jewellery are intimately tied together in small installations that tell about love..

Living close at the sea, I used the beach, a place for contemplation, romantic meetings and fun to investigate certain matters of the heart. The project began with making heart shaped sculptures in the wet sand by the waterside.The waves and the tide gradually changed and swept away the sculptures. I took pictures of this process and made a series of brooches based on these images. The photos and the jewellery are intimately tied together in small installations that tell about love.
