Aavistus, a Finnish word, can be most closely translated into a notion between premonition and intuition. The three artists, Tiina Rajakallio, Tarja Tuupanen, and Maria Vuorinen each work differently; different materials, different sensibilities, and different and points of departure. Yet somehow their work fits perfectly together, as if by greater design or intention…
