Ascendance by Evert Nijland

Ornamentation was always a prominent source of inspiration in Nijland's jewellery, but the practical demands of wearability limited him sometimes in his choices. Designing these treasury objects allowed him to incorporate bigger elements. Once again Nijland cooperated with specialists from other craft fields, this time with a silver caster and a glass blower. It took as much experience as experiment to come to terms with the wish to merge silver and glass.
