Knitting is part of her life, the way to express her story. From 2004 to 2018 she taught at her workshop called Fwiya. Her work has been exhibited in the country and worldwide.
Mabel Pena was trained in applied arts, scenography and costumes. She started to learn jewelry techniques with the well-known artists Sarquis and Garavaglia. Since 2002 she has taught at her workshop“Km0” and at Prosam Foundation focused on mental health.
