Intro
A Contemporary Jewellery Exhibition, which brings together 20 international artists, who work their pieces from a critical and reflective point of view, so that the jewel ceases to be a status symbol and becomes an object of Art, in which the creator displays his inner look and his connection with the world.

Artist list

Fabiola Ahumada, Roxana Casale, Solange Contreras, Fabiana Gadano, Clara Gimenez, Mayelin Guevara, Caco Honorato, Patricia Iglesias, Lorena Jarpa, Patricia Mogni, Ana Nadjar, María Inés Nouzeilles, Yael Olave, Mabel Pena, Sabina Thiemroth, Vivian Urmeneta, Sergio Antonio Varas, Mariela Vicencio, Paula Waters, Soledad Ávila
Híbridos Salvajes is an International Art proposal organized by the group La Brújula Arte en Tránsito.
An invitation to the creators to break the chains that take away our subjective freedom and approach their artworks around the concept derived from Plato's allegory "The Myth of the Cave", with the goal of leading them to a critical and reflective look at what surrounds us.

Each artist was urged to create a piece from their contextual view; the result has been, on the one hand, the re-signification of the materials used along with a diversity of proposals and techniques that never cease to surprise the viewers who have visited the exhibition.
Our goal as Compass Art in Transit in this call is to publicize the new jewelry and its impact as an art mechanism, which implies a shift from being an ornament that signifies status and becomes a bridge between the inner world and the observer.

This exhibition comes from an itinerancy that began in 2019, in Valencia and Barcelona, Spain, passed through Chile and Argentina and this 2022 ends its tour in Punta Arenas, Chilean Patagonia.

Opening information: 3rd of June 2022, 5 pm
