CHUTes is an exhibition that shows the work of four French metal artists within the emblematic Maison Tartaix, based in the third arrondissement in Paris. Their work aims to explore the treasures that are contained in the offshoot waste boxes that the store offers its customers for special prices and are well-known by artists.

The corpus of pieces that are shown were created during the workshop that gathered Joanne Grimonprez, Marine Dominiczak, Annie Sibert and Elie Hirsch, from transporting the waste box to the workshop to exploring its content and creating works of art that reveal what comes to life and is whispered in the secrets of this extraordinary and historic place.
