Intro
With the exhibition Counterpoint Reverso presents to the Portuguese public the work of two South Korean artists, highlighting the contrasts and similarities that their works inevitably raise.

Heejoo Kim, Young-I Kim
Young-I Kim and Heejoo Kim began their training in Korea and completed it in Germany. They both master the ancient enamel technique, although with different results. Young-I Kim applies unique colours of enamel on vessels of contained forms and coats them with gold leaf. Kim Heejoo reinvents organic shapes to her jewellery and combines materials such as leather and copper on which she applies gentle enamel gradations of colour.
