This year’s Jewellery and Silversmithing degree show exhibits the work of seventeen final year students, made up of eleven undergraduate BA Honour students and six post-graduate MFAs. Together, their exhibition demonstrates technical, and conceptual design innovation, brought together in a range of materials by machine or hand-craft skills.
Artist list
Isabel Archer, Molly Buesnel, Eva Fernandez, Sophia Harrison-Hall, Lingyu He, Holly Higgins, Emily Higham, Jessica Jue, Wanshu Li, Felicity Lynden, Kirsten Macgregor, Esther Mcintosh, Orlaigh Murray, Yoo Kyung Song, Emma Strawson, Ruoyan Wang, Eileen Xie
We are proud of the fact that this year we have BA students whose designs won four of seven nationally-awarded Goldsmiths’ Hall Precious Metal Bursaries at the start of this year. This show also contains work by two ‘Hamilton and Inches scholars’, who undertook work experience with the company in their third year and received a scholarship to assist with their final year of study. All the staff that have taught and worked with these graduates join in wishing them every success with their future bright careers. / Stephen Bottomley Programme Director, Jewellery & Silversmithing
