The third triennial presents the works of 37 glass and ceramic artists. Two European countries are invited to join Belgium in the framework of each triennial. This year France and Norway have agreed to participate. In each of these countries the WCC-BF has worked with a partner association for the general organisation of the event and a curator who was responsible for selecting works that are representative of these art forms in his or her country.
The European Triennial of Ceramics and Glass is held from 19 October to 5 January 2014 in the Grand Hall of the Old Slaughterhouse site of Mons (Anciens Abattoirs).
Established artists and talented newcomers will interact in a setting designed by the ceramicist Jean-Claude Legrand.
