The special display entitled FRAME is where renowned international galleries present themselves with works in the fields of jewellery, ceramics and textiles. Located in the direct vicinity of the international exhibitions SCHMUCK münchen with Modern Classic, EXEMPLA münchen, and TALENTE münchen The presence of the special display areas further enhances the profile of the Internationale Handwerksmesse and Handwerk & Design.
FRAME galleries – a consistent source of fascination and simply breathtaking: internationally acclaimed galleries present the finest jewellery, utensils, and ceramics. A yearly source of inspiration for everyone who loves exceptional interior design and unique accessories.

A reason for the jewellery scene to make the move from South Africa through Canada and all the way to Munich is the prestigious international galleries, which, under the title FRAME, set the stage for SCHMUCK as a splendid decoration and can only be experienced together at Internationale Handwerksmesse and «Handwerk & Design».


At the 2026 edition, the selected galleries are as follows:
 
  • Galerie Noel Guyomarc'h, Canada.
    Since 1996, located in Montreal, Canada, the gallery promotes national and international contemporary jewelry.
     
  • Galerie Rosemarie Jäger, Germany.
    Classical positions and unusual concepts of contemporary applied art.
     
  • Platina, Sweden.
    It was founded in Stockholm in 1999 and has since hosted a large number of contemporary jewellery artists.
    Exploring the notion that things considered rare or precious are very often hidden away whether that is within the earth itself or jewellery that might be stored away from people’s gaze. Here, the raw amber nuggets have been interrupted on their journey towards being made into a precious object and are reburied unworked in a necklace.
     
  • Tinsel Gallery, South Africa.
    Showcases contemporary jewellers in South Africa and provides a platform for the exhibition and sale of their work.
     
  • Heidi Lowe Gallery, USA.
    The Heidi Lowe Gallery, a contemporary art jewelry gallery that opened in 2006, presents the exhibition Earrings Galore, which showcases a rich and diverse selection of earrings from 60 emerging and established jewelry designers. 
     
  • The Closer Gallery, China.
    Founded in Beijing in 2017. As one of China’s leading private galleries specializing in contemporary jewelry, it has independently curated and organized dozens of solo and group exhibitions for jewelry artists both from China and abroad. Dedicated to integrating the academic, artistic, and commercial dimensions of contemporary jewelry, the gallery strives to promote contemporary jewelry culture.
    It is committed to advancing the development of contemporary jewelry in China and across Asia, while building a bridge connecting jewelry enthusiasts among the public, industry professionals, and the international community.
     
  • Galerie CEBRA, Germany.
    The gallery for contemporary jewellery design was founded in Düsseldorf in 1987. Anemone Tontsch, designer and gallery owner, shows here for the first time works that are close to her heart, works that inspire her through her imagination and the use of unusual materials.
     
  • Gallery MARZEE, Netherlands.
    The world's largest independent gallery for contemporary art jewellery and known for its intensive promotion of young artists.
     
  • Gallery O, South Korea.
    Since 2001, the Seoul-based gallery has made it its mission to introduce South Korea to national and international contemporary jewellery. This year, it will present eleven leading artists of Korean contemporary jewellery at FRAME.
     
  • Objects Beautiful, UK.
    Objects Beautiful at FRAME 2025 first time, celebrates contemporary Hair-Jewellery - that fell out of fashion in the 20th century, though played an important role since ancient times - created by 40 artist-jewellers, spread internationally, claiming back hair-scape’s romance and tenderness.
