Intro
GALLERY is a new exhibition window concept, presenting international contemporary jewellery. The first exhibition is a group show and will be held in the window of Josefine Rønsholt Smith’s studio and shop, KNAEKKETHVID, in central Copenhagen.

Artist list

Paul Adie, Rachael Colley, Gabriella Goldsmith, Helen Clara Hemsley, Juliette Même, Therese Mørch, Maja Røhl, Josefine Rønsholt Smith, Christopher Thompson Royds, Timothy Information Limited
GALLERY provides a platform for experimenting with the actual works, their format and presentation, within the framework of a shop window, providing a showcase, so to speak, which can be experienced from the street. By so doing, we also hope to introduce contemporary jewellery to a wider audience. The window is located in a vibrant little street in the heart of the city, where people not only shop, eat in restaurants, get their haircut, but also go for casual strolls, and hang out by the canal in the sun. It is also close to the City Hall, the Parliament and a long list of cultural and historical institutions.

With a bright and diverse group of exhibitors, we feel that GALLERY opens up for a dynamic segment of the contemporary jewellery world, and has a relevant and inspiring approach, as well as displaying a range of materials, methods, and topics.

The exhibition is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation.
