Intro
Curated by Andrea Wagner, it's a touring exhibition showing leading-edge work by 11 Dutch jewelry artists.

Golden Clogs, Dutch Mountains
is the title of this touring exhibition showing leading-edge work by 11 Dutch jewelry artists. Andrea Wagner, a jewelry artist who lives in Amsterdam curated the exhibition. Her work is also in the show.
The important criteria was that the work itself, as well as the use of materials, goes beyond mere decorative beauty, and is also original and innovative. It follows a clear idea or concept. All artists are professionally active studio jewellers having emerged mostly within the last decade.
Since the 60s, The Netherlands has been one of the leaders in the art jewelry movement, elevating jewelry to a cutting-edge art form in its own right and helping to spark off the development of avant-garde art jewelry in the rest of Europe and the U.S.
We now have the next generation.

Participating artists:

Iris Eichenberg • Jantje Fleischhut • Gesine Hackenberg • Ineke Heerkens • Stephanie Jendis • Manon van Kouswijk • Iris Nieuwenburg • Katja PrinsConstanze SchreiberFrancis WillemstijnAndrea Wagner
