Hypnostone I4O1 - is a new jewellery collective from Idar-Oberstein, composed by five students studying gemstone and jewelry design at the University of Trier. Hypnostone will be exhibiting for the first time during the Schmuck 2015 in munich, an important context for us to present our work as designers and artists.

Artist list

Pia Groh, Katja Köditz, Stephanie Morawetz, Punkt, Typhaine le Monnier
Minerals can be seen in different ways. Specific organisms can form new minerals due to large pressures and high temperatures. The Hypnostone is a mixture of naturally formed minerals. Due to its flexible inner structure, it is not possible to define the Hypnostone, neither in shape nor in color. It is continuously in transformation. It can´t be characterized. That makes it so rare and desirable. It is also rumored to have supernatural powers. A sensation not only in science!
Just in time for the Schmuck 2015 in Munich the Hypnostone will be presented for the first time to the public.
