Annika gets her inspiration from everyday experiences and her work tends to allude the viewers recognition. Her jewellery works as sculptures when not worn.

Annika Åkerfeldt
Annika Åkerfeldt, born in Finland, opens the autumn at Gallery hnoss with her exhibition " I manegen". Annika graduated from Jewellery Art and Design at HDK, Gothenburg, in 2004 and is now working and living in Stockholm. She is also educated as a goldsmith. In her work with jewellery, porcelain is a recurrent material. With precision and patience she shapes unique forms which she moulds into porcelain and puts the parts together with other materials. She also makes stickers, twodimensional prints on the threedimensional porcelainforms.
