Elin Flognman shows interest in our desire to escape from everyday life. His artistic ambition is to find the point of intersection between the familiar and the extraordinary, as when you repeat your name over and over again and it starts to sound strange. Basic walking and eating activities permeate your work.
When I listen to everyday objects I want to do everyday matter. (Elin Flognman, Trollhättan-Sweden).
Carmen López has been working and interpreting an object for many years: The spoon. His relationship with her is an absolute complicity. According to Carmen is an object so linked to us, so common that decontextualizing it has always been a provocative game for her. !
For years I have lost and found in them, now I have worked for a while in small format, sometimes become a precious jewel or feed the inside of a notebook. (Carmen López, Sevilla-Spain).
