The Galerie Slavik enters the autumn season with a sensational exhibition that presents two jewellery artists who are diametrically opposed - except for the high quality of their work.

Artist list

Ralph Bakker, Giovanni Sicuro
Jewellery for the neck, for the wrist and arms, and for the ears - high-quality craftsmanship, aesthetic harmony, and wonderfully snuggly on the skin. Bakker’s jewellery is timeless, because he draws his inspiration from traditional materials, time-hallowed techniques and the symbolism of ancient forms. When a piece of jewellery by Ralph Bakker has found its wearer they become one, in perfect harmony.
The young Italian sculptor and jewellery artist Giovanni Sicuro combines clear forms to create miniature sculptures that are made to be worn. His sculptor’s eye can be sensed in every one of his works. And the plasticity of his surfaces and the subtlety of his combinations of material, form and colour are clear proof of his artistic caliber. In the coral pendant, elegance of form combines with geometrical silver-niello elements to create a necklace that is a pleasure to wear and an admirable sculpture in its own right.

Come and join us on a journey of exploration into the multi-dimensional worlds of Ralph Bakker and Giovanni Sicuro
