Gallery Hélène Porée presents the exhibition Jewellery made of porcelain and more...
Porcelain is the common material in the eight artists' jewelry that we are exhibiting. For Marion Delarue, Sophie Honegger and Andrea Wagner, it is used partly in connection with other materials such as woll, glass and stones. Karin Seufert and Mette Vivelsted recover old porcelain which they use in making their jewelry. Peter Hoogeboom, Annabelle d’Huart and Pauline Wiertz create contemporary work ex nihilo. And a wonderful surprise to accompany these magnificent jewels are the porcelain handbags and little purses by Pauline Wiertz.
