Jiro Kamata's jewellery plays with common elements, such as lens and tape, to point out their characteristics and give them a new value.

The past the exhibition Momentopia was presented with great succes in Amsterdam, now Jiro Kamata comes to Mexico City with the sponsor of Otro Diseño Fundation and GMD to exhibit and participate in the symposium Área Gris the first fifteen days of April. The exhibition will be open during the whole month and in the same time the work of Mexican jewellery designers will be shown.

The main purpose of Grey Area is to promote the appreciation of contemporary jewellery, during the curse of five days, artistic encounters between Europe and Latin America will take place, together they will present this fascinating discipline to a wider audience.
