Intro
The gallery has for years pursued the developments in the field of metal design. It is to tell their story again and again different approaches to perception, classic silversmithing equal footing alongside conceptual work and to present to the public.

Die Ausstellung zeigt Arbeiten von 16 Silberschmieden aus 8 Ländern. Der Untertitel Standpunkte stellt die Frage nach aktuellen Positionen heutiger Gestaltung. Dabei geht es um die Rolle der Silberschmiedekunst im globalen Kontext.

Die Galerie verfolgt seit Jahren die Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Metallgestaltung. Dabei ist es ihr Anliegen immer wieder unterschiedliche Ansätze zur Anschauung zu bringen, Klassiker der Silberschmiedekunst gleichberechtigt neben konzeptionelle Arbeiten zu stellen und der Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren.

Die Ausstellung ist das Ergebnis einer subjektiven Auswahl aus einem breiten Spektrum. Weitere Präsentationen sollen folgen.
