Fireworks are temporary explosions to commemorate an event. Sound, lighting, paint and smoke intermingled with wonder, excitement, nostalgia and inspiration. Fireworks are used to heighten an already emotional or significant occasion. In some cultures, fireworks and firecrackers are used as a way to ward off evil spirits at the events like funerals, weddings, inaugurations and the start of the festivities.
