New Adventures in Jewellery is the umbrella name for an international programme of exhibitions, lectures and other events within the context of contemporary jewellery. It takes place in Gothenburg and Western Sweden during the spring, summer and autumn of 2014.

It takes place in Gothenburg and Western Sweden during the spring, summer and autumn of 2014 and is centered around the exhibition From the Coolest Corner: Nordic Jewellery at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.
New Adventures in Jewellery is run jointly by the Röhsska Museum for Design, Fashion and Decorative Arts, HDK - School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg, KHVC - the Crafts Center and Hnoss Initiative.

The juried exhibition From the Coolest Corner features works by more than 60 artists from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Estonia. The Röhsska Museum is the only Swedish venue for this touring exhibition, produced by the National Museum, Oslo.

Welcome to an international two-day seminar focusing on new approaches to the making, wearing and contextualization of jewellery. Addressing issues around multi-disciplinary working methods, networking and globalization, the speakers will bring together perspectives and examples from around the world.
Keynote speakers: Ursula Ilse-Neuman (US), curator at MAD, New York; Claudia Betancourt & Nano Pulgar (CI), Walka Studio; Mah Rana (UK), artist and curator; Damian Skinner (NZ), curator at the Auckland Museum; Susan Pietzsch (JA/GE), jewellery artist, curator and editor.
