The works presented (jewelry and objects) are the results of the research that Federica has conducted over the last few years on three main themes: blown glass and stones, blown glass and metal, molten glass with stones. Each piece originates from preparatory prototypes that the artist observes with scientific objectivity and at the same time intimate participation, placing her work in a encounter-clash movement, in the tenacious fragility of a reality to be discovered. How can one reconfigure the whimsical nature of glass and keep it alive? How can it generate beauty? Nothing in Between is a daily practice made of objects but also rites that help us make tangible the intangible to get to see the invisible space between things that is inspired, bewitching, shapely.
