Artist list

Kristin Beeler, Iker Ortiz, Donna Veverka, Kyunghee Kim
Kristin Beeler says her "most recent work is based on studies of beauty and an interest in visual memory". The pieces "are very much about things that are just on the edge of remembering, events that are seen but not noticed like notes on a scrap of paper or the way an insect has eaten a leaf."

Iker Ortiz presents at this exhibition Zollverein Colection , taking as inspiration, among other things, architecture. This time Zollverein is the starting point for achieving this collection. The Zollverein XII Coal Mine Industrial Complex is an exceptional industrial monument by virtue of the fact that its buildings are outstanding examples of the application of the design concepts of the Modern Movement in architecture in a wholly industrial context.
The technological and other structures of Zollverein XII is representative of a crucial period in the development of traditional heavy industries in Europe, when sympathetic and positive use was made of architectural designs of outstanding quality.
This unique site chronicles both the evolution and decline of the essential coal mining industry of Germany over the past 150 years.

Donna Veverka grew up going to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which inspired a passion for art, ancient history, and archeology. The influences of Classical and Renaissance architecture permeate her studio work. Her new "Fragment Series" features one of a kind pieces in hand-carved marble and sterling silver.

Korean artist, Kyunghee Kim continues her series "Salvia….the dreaming garden" using wood beads in addition to her pieces in enamel and sterling silver.
