I weave cloth fabrics on vintage handlooms, mostly they are made of silk chenille yarn. The yarn is personally spun for me in Italy and dyed near Heidelberg. From my handwoven clothes, I design jackets for women and men, pullovers, and frock coats which then are custom-made by a local tailor I work with. I find it particularly enjoyable to combine the hand-woven cloth with fabrics I find on my travels, in order to create a mix of different textile techniques. I put emphasis on comfort, classic cuts, and small accessories like hand-covered buttons that turn every piece into something unique.
