The Artistic Jewelery and Photography Competition PRESENTATIONS 2018 was organized for the eighteenth time. This year's edition of the Competition has gained an international dimension, as well as its formula has been extended with a photographic module. At the exhibition in the Vistula Museum (Muzeum Nadwiślańskie) in Kazimierz Dolny, we can see the works of goldsmiths and photographers from almost all over the world. The theme of this year's PRESENTATIONS was the original and sophisticated combination of silver and amber.
In previous years, artists have struggled, among others with the original combination of silver with wood and paper. Works from the two previous editions are also presented at the exhibition, giving a broad overview of the artistic and technological trends in the field of jewelry in recent years.
On October 8 this year in the Czartoryski Palace in Puławy, the jury was composed of: Anna Augustyniak - Secretary of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, Lidia Popiel - Polish photographer and model, prof. Andrzej Szadkowski - founder of the Department of Jewelery at the Department of Textiles and Clothing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, jewelery designer, Tomasz Zaremski - jewelery designer associated with Kazimierz Dolny and prof. Alain Roggeman - member of the Institut Jeanne Toussaint in Brussels, owner of AR Contemporary Creations.
