Intro
Earrings are an ancient form of adornment, worn to enhance the beauty of the wearer, you could argue they are one of the most popular and accessible forms of jewellery. From the simple sleeper stud to the elegant and opulent royal chandler drop, the diversity and creativity in design is endless.

Artist list

Helen Aitken-Kuhnen, Julie Blyfield, Jane Bowden, Melissa Cameron, Daniel Dicaprio, Lisa Furno, Marian Hosking, Kath Inglis, Kaori Juzu, Takashi Kojima, Johannes Kuhnen, Catherine Large, Cinnamon Lee, Carlier Makigawa, Danni Schwaag
This year Bilk has invited artists represented in our gallery along with some new artists to design and create new collections of earrings. The response has been astounding, they have responded with the generosity we so love in all of them and with exceptional collections that are whimsical, elegant, outrageous and beautiful examples of this ancient form of adornment.

This is one of our favourite exhibitions to hold in the gallery and originally the idea resulted from a conversation we had about this wonderful form of adornment and the frustrated response to the lover of earrings with the exclamation - What is it with earrings!?! Why do we covert them so!?!
We love the excitement and enthusiasm that it produces in both our clients and our fabulous artists. Earrings will be able to go home on the day of purchase to allow the coveted pair to be enjoyed instantly.

Exhibition opening on the 19th and 20th August 11am - 4.30pm with mulled wine.
Opening hours will be from 25 August until 16 September Friday and Saturdays 11am - 4.30pm.
Sundays by private appointment.
