The range of artistic tendencies, represented at the exhibition of contemporary Czech Jewelry, is as broad as the term “structure”. All exhibiting artists pay extraordinary attention to the inner structure, and still the character of their oeuvre is so different!
Structure connects chaos with the cosmic order; its character is either amorphous or crystalline. Its starting point in a work of art can be a priori a mathematical calculation as well as an inspiration by organic tissue.

At first sight one is impressed by the variety of approaches to the material. A similar play with space may result on one hand in conceptual works, which represent the artist’s idea to the viewer without giving rise to a tangible artefact, not to speak about a piece of wearable jewelry.
On the other hand, other artists construct during this play unique objects, which are both original works of art and decoration of those who wear them. And yet others use their works as prototypes for production of small series of jewelry.
