Intro
The exhibition shows a couple of groups, each with another idea, special made for Bangkok. In a warm climate like in Thailand you do not wear heavy pieces but these are ultra light. Also 5 little paintings belong to the exhibition.

Beppe Kessler
‘Little treasures’, that is how I describe my works of art; miniature sculptures composed of age-old and contemporary materials, brazenly combined and not bound to the traditions of jewellery making. They express my feelings and thoughts about life. They invite touching and they tell a story, summarized in titles justifying their existence.

The exhibition shows a couple of groups, each with another idea, special made for Bangkok. I mention 2.
Every Day (on the invitation card) is a series of small brooches, inspired by an old tradition in Thailand that every day has its own color. If your wear on the right day the right color it brings luck.
The Every Day brooches are made of colored and burnt balsa wood, acrylic fiber plus sometimes pieces of stone, alpaca or bone. In a warm climate like in Thailand you do not wear heavy pieces but these are ultra light.

Plenty of Nothing is a group of brooches, small wearable dishes. The title is a contradiction in termini but inspiring, a play of something and nothing. The brooches are full of burned holes, grouped together in an unpredictable rhythm. Holes are nothing- no material, just air, indescribable. But still they are visible and something. That is also why the title of the exhibition is whispering pieces. Small, hardly any weight but full of meaning, silent meaning if you have the patience to have a closer look.

Also 5 little paintings belong to the exhibition.
