Mah Rana will talk about projects including the experiential learning and teaching program ‘Tandemize’ and ‘Meanings and Attachments’ about people’s personal connection to the jewellery they wear.

The lecture takes place on Tuesday 27 February at 19:00 (St Lucas School of Arts Antwerp, Sint-Jozefstraat 35, Antwerp) and is organised by the Jewellery Design department and research platform Precious Dialogue of St Lucas Antwerp.

London-based artist, curator, and writer Mah Rana develops inter-disciplinary projects that bring people together to engage in social storytelling and making as forms of participatory arts practice.  During the week of the lecture, Mah Rana will give the master class ‘People Skills’ in which she, together with master’s students of St Lucas School of Arts and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, will search for new ways of active public participation with equal terms between the artists and the participating audience.
