We are delighted to announce the Coexistências / Coexistences Colloquium, taking place on 25 and 26 September 2026 at the auditorium of MUDE — Museu do Design, Lisbon, as part of the 3rd Lisbon Contemporary Jewellery Biennial.
Across three half-day thematic sessions, the colloquium brings together researchers, artists and makers to explore three lines of enquiry:
Session 1 — Sentient Materiality
25 Sept, 2:30–6:00 pm | With Irma Foldenyi, Ngarino Lewis and Joani Groenewald.
Moderated by Patricia Domingues.
Session 2 — Otherness
26 Sept, 10:00 am–1:30 pm | With Francisca Carvalho, Harald Bentz Høgseth and Saskia Kolff-van Es.
Moderator: TBC
Session 3 — Technopoetry
26 Sept, 2:30–6:30 pm | With Anneleen Swillen, Edu Tarin and Conversation Piece.
Moderator: TBC
The colloquium will be held entirely in English, with closing remarks by rapporteur Mònica Gaspar.
Symposium Fees:
— 2 days (Friday 25/9 afternoon / Saturday 26 full day)
— 2 Days: €120 (€100 for PIN members, €80 for students)
— 1 Day: €40 (Friday), €80 (Saturday)
— Online: €80
