Intro
Ted Noten’s work critiques contemporary life, jewelry history, and product design while bridging art and architecture. He challenges convention and redefines the familiar. From Chew Your Own Brooch to brooches made from Mercedes parts or weapons embedded in handbags, his projects question meaning, value, and perception.

This workshop is built around short, spontaneous assignments that generate flow. The process — the doing — is more important than the end result. Through playful interventions and focused tasks, we will explore how meaning is constructed, deconstructed, and reinvented.

The exact final assignment will emerge from the group dynamic and the context we create together. The situation itself becomes the engine.

Over 3.5 intensive days, we will:
Question fixed meanings.
Experiment with material and symbolism.
Develop personal concepts.
Share, discuss, and reflect collectively.
This is not about mastering technique. It is about sharpening perception. We will learn from each other, including me.
