Birmingham Institute of Art and Design is offering for a new teaching post at the School of Jewellery for BA (Hons) Jewellery Design and Related Products. There is a full time position for an enthusiastic person with relevant contemporary jewellery and/or related skills to provide teaching input at the School of Jewellery.
The Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD), is one of the UK’s leading centres for the arts, architecture and design. We have an international reputation for learning and teaching, research and knowledge transfer.

We work across the world with partners in the University sector, NGOs, business and government agencies. Our RAE grading is at 4*, we are running a large number of KTPs, we have multi-million pound investment from external agencies and our third stream engagement is both regionally and nationally significant.

LECTURER: BA (Hons) Jewellery Design & Related Products

£30,959 – £36,487 Ref: 130415/015

There is a full time position for an enthusiastic person with relevant contemporary jewellery and/or related skills to provide teaching input at the School of Jewellery. You would be expected to have an extensive knowledge of, and professional/research experience within the contemporary jewellery and related field.

Your role will primarily be related to the BA (Hons) Jewellery Design & Related Products course but you would be expected to contribute your skills and intellectual rigour across other areas of the School’s activities.
