Intro
Artists and jewellery designers from around the world are invited to take part in the 35th International Jewellery Competition Authenticity organised by the Gallery of Art in Legnica (Poland), the central event of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER.
The International Jewellery Competition is one of the oldest and most renowned events promoting contemporary jewellery in Europe, a space for individual interpretation, creative exploration, and artistic experiments.

The competition has an artistic character; techniques and materials are entirely up to the artist. The use of silver remains our traditional suggestion, yet it is not required. What matters most is the interpretation of the theme: Authenticity.

Authenticity is a concept that has acquired particular significance in our time. In an era of artificial intelligence, simulations, digital filters, and fake content, what does authenticity mean? Where does the boundary between the authentic and the artificial begin to blur? Where does truth end and fiction begin?

How can originality be defined today? Artists are faced with the challenge of embracing new technologies without losing their authenticity. These technologies can serve as valuable tools, support, and creative resources, yet their use inevitably carries inherent risks.

How to participate:
- Pay a return fee for shipping the works back after the competition (in the case of participants from abroad) or declare in the entry form that they agree to pay the transport costs upon delivery (in the case of participants from Poland).
- Send the completed entry form and the payment confirmation to the following email address: silver@galeria.legnica.eu
- Send the package with the work or deliver it in person, along with the printed and completed entry form and the payment confirmation, to the address of the Gallery of Art in Legnica by 17 January 2027. There is no pre-selection based on photos. All the submitted pieces have to arrive physically at the Gallery of Art in Legnica by this date.

Important information for participants from countries that are not members of the European Union:
- Due to customs procedures for parcels from outside the European Union, the delivery time may be extended.
- Participants from non-European Union countries are requested to send the parcel tracking number and courier company name to the following email address: silver@galeria.legnica.eu.
- In accordance with the regulations, participants will be required to pay customs duties. The amount of customs fees is calculated individually for each shipment, and the amount depends on the value of the contents declared by the shipper of the shipment.

Participation in the competition is free; participants only cover the cost of shipping and returning their works. The organisers request that the works be packaged properly to protect them from damage during transit.

The works, together with the printed completed entry form, should be sent to the address:
