Intro
The 8th edition of Artistar Jewels will take place from 3th to 6th June 2021 in Milan. The call for entries is officially open until March 15th, 2021.
 
With the participation of over 150 international artists, the 8th edition of Artistar Jewels will be held at Palazzo Bovara, in the city centre of Milano.
Artistar Jewels is an annual project born in 2012, through which the contemporary jewelry is promoted internationally. An important showcase for established artists and a springboard for emerging ones. The goal is to create important commercial networks for all the creative people taking part in the project.


WHO PARTICIPATE
Well-known artists and designers, masters goldsmith, artisans emerging talents and creative brands.
 

WHY PARTICIPATE
  • Artistar Jewels will represent the heart of the Milano Jewelry Week, exhibiting the creations of over 150 artists and designers who share the same dedication and talent in gold and creative art.
  • All the selected artists and pieces will be published in the Artistar Jewels 2021 book, which will be distributed to international jewelry galleries, concept stores, personal stylist, boutiques and journalists and sold in the major bookshops all over the world.
  • Through partnerships and synergies born with several commercial realities, concept stores and galleries, Artistar Jewels gives the chance to all the artists to be selected by the Artistar Jewels Network and to start collaborations with renowned galleries and stores.
  • Every year, Artistar Jewels gives important awards in collaboration with influential entities in the sector. The represented artists have the chance to be selected by other organizations to take part for free in other international exhibitions, to release interviews for important magazines, to be selected to attend for free goldsmith courses in prestigious schools etc
  • Artistar Jewels press office deals with the dissemination of the entire project and the artists involved for 12 months. Each participant is supported throughout the year receiving help in managing contacts with the press. 
     
SELECTION CRITERIA
  • Unique pieces or small series.
  • Jewels with a recognizable style and a strong communicative impact.
  • Creations made with traditional materials and / or reinterpreted in an original way or research jewels created with innovative and / or recycled materials.
