Open Call for Autor 2026

With its 23rd edition, AUTOR celebrates 17 years of continuous activity. We are a dedicated platform for contemporary jewelry, with a rich history of 22 successful editions. We have had the honor of selecting over 1900 talented designers, over the years, fostering connections between them and our passionate audience. Thousands of jewelry pieces have been loved, purchased, and proudly worn worldwide, thanks to our vision and commitment. AUTOR is the space where creative contemporary jewelry is promoted, validated, and showcased nationally and internationally.


How to apply for the 2026 edition of AUTOR, Eligible to participate in the AUTOR Fair:

• Designers and artists in the field of contemporary creative jewelry.
• Galleries.
• Schools.

The selection process & the AUTOR 2026 jury:
An international jury consisting of Sofia Björkman, Caroline Broadhead, Katharina Dettar, Sally Rui Li and Dan Pierșinaru will select the collections for AUTOR 2026 based on the following general criteria:

• Presentation of an authentic and coherent collection at AUTOR 2026.
• Originality: a collection that reflects a personal vision.
• Concept: strong ideas, avant-garde creativity, consistency & unity of the works.
• Adherence to the principles of contemporary jewelry (significant/statement pieces and ready-to-made elements).
• Innovative use of materials, unusual materials, innovative technique, and craftsmanship.

At AUTOR, awards are not just trophies; they are platforms. Selected designers become eligible for:

• AUTOR Awesome Award – Focus Artist AUTOR 2026.
• Alchimia School Award – in Florence.
• Uni.Versus Award – in Athens.
• Transylvania Jewelry Festival Award – Cluj-Napoca 2026.
• Public Choice Award.

Participation Fee:
Base fee for independent participants starts at 500 euros.
Includes: exhibition support (white jewelry table 125 x 68 cm H 90 cm and chair); personalised designer name tag; promotion before and after the event; direct interaction with potential buyers (approximately 3000 people over two days); access to industry experts invited by AUTOR; free access to the Welcoming Cocktail Party, openings, brunch and the AUTOR Party. 

To be part of the selection process, there is a 35 euro application fee payable through the website after completing the registration form.

In the event that the collection is not accepted into the final selection for the fair, this fee is non-refundable.

The jury’s selection results will be announced after the 25 of March.
