Open Call for the Juried Exhibition Earrings Galore 2024

Each artist’s unique approach to the earring format will be represented in a cohesive grouping of 6 pairs of earrings. The grouping should show that it is made with intention, attention to detail, and its functionality considered. The exhibition is intended to create more access for the public to engage with art jewelry, cultivate connections with the community, and provide opportunities for people to add to their jewelry collection. 
 
Application materials MUST INCLUDE:

• 6 quality digital images of different pairs of earrings (or those very similar to those in the application) that will be included in the exhibition if selected to participate. Think of this as a small collection that represents the work you are most excited about.
• Images should be labeled LastName_FirstName_Title.jpg
• A document that includes a thumbnail of each image with the following information for each: Your name, title of work, date created, materials, dimensions, and wholesale (artist/50% of retail) price and the retail price
• Artist Resume
• Artist Statement
• Contact information 
• $20.00 application fee to be paid with application submission

Important Dates:

• Application due:  September 16, 2024
• The artist will be notified of juried selection on September 23, 2024
• IF you are selected to be included in the show, 6 pairs of earrings and the paperwork will be due to Heidi Lowe Gallery on October 6, 2024
• Earrings Galore 2024 will be presented at the Heidi Lowe Gallery during December 2024-TBA 2025. It will debut as an in-person pop-up exhibition November 18-24, 2024 for NYC Jewelry Week. Other possible pop-up locations in other cities will be determined.
