Intro
We are excited to announce the 2026 edition of NOD MAGAZINE that will be published in March 2026!

This year's theme explores something fundamental to human existence, something that has shaped us since our species first appeared on Earth. COMMUNITY was essential for survival, enabling evolution and advancing humanity to new levels of development.

COMMUNITY often begins with family. For some, that means the family of origin, for others a chosen family built on belonging, care, and support. From there, communities unfold in many directions: friends, peers, subcultures, groups we enter or leave along the way.

Do you feel comfortable in a COMMUNITY, or do you prefer solitude? Are you a team player? What does community do for you? What does it provide? What does it offer? And are there communities you cannot escape?

There are countless types of COMMUNITIES. Which one comes to mind first when you hear the word? Communities can provide stability, transcend boundaries, or define territories. Some span generations, others are temporary and quickly become obsolete.

Visible codes such as insignia, buttons, flags, tattoos or jewelry often mark these bonds and make belonging tangible. Jewelry in particular functions as a marker of identity, as code, as non verbal language. Some pieces only “work” within a COMMUNITY. Symbols or status markers are meaningless without a shared understanding.

COMMUNITIES exist in many forms: from craft guilds, nomadic groups, and ritual circles to religious, political, subcultural, and identity based communities such as LGBTQ+ communities or diasporic groups.

Translate your idea of COMMUNITY into jewelry, objects, and concepts.
We cannot wait to discover them.
