The University of Applied Sciences Trier, Design Department, Campus of Gemstones and Jewellery in Idar-Oberstein is offering a part-time position as an assistant (m/f/d) with the focus on marketing. The position is open to apply from now and offers a temporary contract until 31 December 2021.
The salary occurs after 10 TV-L.
We are looking for a communicative organizational talent to actively market the gemstone and jewelry department. The activity concentrates on recruiting Bachelor students in particular, for example by giving lectures at (vocational) schools in the German-speaking area, trade fair appearances and presentations. Your tasks will also include the maintenance of social media appearances and the website of the department as well as the creation of suitable advertising materials and participation in publications.

Job profile:
  • A successfully completed university degree.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.
  • A convincing appearance.
  • Knowledge and experience in the relevant IT programs (at least Office).
  • Thorough and reliable working methods as well as organisational and communicative skills.
  • Willingness to engage in further education.
  • Social skills (high commitment, initiative, empathy, ability to work in a team).

  • A convincing and adequate appearance, especially at trade fairs, lectures and presentations.
  • Access to applied arts.
  • Skills in dealing with new media, especially Adobe and web applications.
