How to Collaborate with a Gallery with Juan Riusech

We'll also cover how to submit a project to an Open Call and how to meet all the requirements to increase your chances of being selected.

- Learn all the tricks for interacting with contemporary jewelry galleries from Juan Riusech , jeweler and founder of the Alliages gallery .
- Learn to conceptualize your ideas to present the most successful proposals for jewelry competitions.
- Prepares appropriate documentation, creates and edits images, and calculates budgets for parts.

Places:  Minimum 4 students, maximum 8 students.

- What a gallery's job entails.
- How to communicate properly with a gallery
- Working with an exhibition curator.
- How to respond to an OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS (project call for artists).
- How to calculate selling prices, commissions that galleries typically consider, taxes, standard contracts, deposits, shipping, etc.
- How to take good photos, lightbox, simple image editing apps, white backgrounds, dimensions, quality…

Juan Riusech has been an artist in the field of contemporary jewelry for 20 years and founded the Alliages Gallery in 2009. He has curated exhibitions for over 10 years, featuring the most prominent international artists.
At the same time, he has created a collection of 168 pieces of jewelry that has been donated to the fantastic Museum of Contemporary Jewelry in Cagnes Sur Mer .
The artist has also participated as an individual artist in various international contemporary jewelry exhibitions.
