Galerie Isabella Hund
Gallery
Published: 26.06.2022
The sales area was designed by the architects Landau+Kindelbacher in cooperation with Lene Jünger as the interior designer. Minimalism and transparency are what the gallery owner requested from this team of architects as defining features: suspended glass showcases provide an unimpeded view of the jewellery and space. The gallery is unpretentious and clear-cut, modern and unfussy. Looking at it, Mies van der Rohe’s motto “less is more” comes to mind. Isabella Hund only exhibits high-quality contemporary jewellery made by more than 50 outstanding jewellery artists and designers from Germany and abroad. The works of avant-garde jewellery designers are exhibited on a regular basis.
Jewellery has to reflect the personality of the artist; its powerful and unique radiance must be compelling and underline the charisma of the wearer. As a jewellery designer and gallery owner, I am always on the lookout for jewellery artists who meet this standard and whose work is innovative and contains this range of tension while having the courage to explore new territory.
Hours:
Tuesday to Friday 11 – 14 h and 15 – 19 h.
Saturday 11 – 16 h.
Or by appointment.
2022 Exhibition Program:
- 08 July - 30 July 2022
Kazumi Nagano and Michael Becker.
Opening : Friday, July 8 th 6-9 pm
