Alsolike

Founded in 2022, Alsolike is a gallery specialising in jewellery and small-scale artworks, aiming to create a profound connection between art objects and everyday life. Small-scale artworks, such as contemporary jewellery, often struggle to stand out in group exhibitions. Their smaller size makes them less noticeable than larger works, and unsuitable display spaces often fail to provide optimal lighting or presentation. This challenge inspired Yiru to establish Alsolike, a gallery designed specifically to showcase small-scale artworks. With tailored display spaces, professional lighting, and specialised props, Alsolike ensures viewers can appreciate these exquisite objects' intricate details. Alsolike participated with Five Collective at the Collect International Art Fair 2023 and as an official partner at the London Design Festival 2023 and 2024.

Located in Shoreditch, London, a neighbourhood known for its vibrant art scene, Alsolike is surrounded by stylish boutiques, art galleries, and captivating street art. The area is a haven for high-end retailers, top restaurants, bars, and hotels, attracting a young, creative crowd and serving as a paradise for artists and entrepreneurs alike. Just a 4-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street station, Alsolike is situated near some of London’s premier retail areas, including Brick Lane, Boxpark, Redchurch Street, and Old Spitalfields Market, all featuring a diverse array of unique galleries. As part of the Shoreditch Design Triangle, the area also plays a pivotal role in the London Design Festival, hosting its opening and key events.
