Intro
Academy of International Visual Arts (AIVA), founded in 2005, is an independent art and design institution located in central Shanghai, China. It has expanded into a creative and cultural hub in the last decade with studios, lecture rooms, and a dedicated jewellery studio.
Contemporary jewellery course at AIVA is one of the remarkable courses at both pre-BA and pre-MA level. Using the unique position through cooperating with Birmingham City University, AIVA has built up a good reputation in jewellery education arena in China. AIVA also offers a set of jewellery making and design short courses to professionals and students who are interested in this particular area. On top of that, AIVA’s master class is aiming to not only enhance the skills but also develop the esthetic of jewellery in contemporary art.
