Statement
Less is More has been my philosophy since I first practiced in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design. The inspiration of my work comes from observations in daily life and experience or challenges I had. I like to use a narrative presentation to share my story with the audience. In my personal narrative, I seek to use forms that are simple and organic, but with details that will reveal with a closer view. I enjoy using non-precious materials such as acrylic glass and embroidery thread, and a traditional fabrication technique - enameling. The combination of non-precious material and traditional fabrication techniques is my answer to what contemporary jewelry design is.-
