Statement
My work is a search for indulgent visual pleasure arising from a romantic view of nature. I see ornament as a conduit for emotional response and memory. The human endeavor for symmetry and balanced arrangement of forms is a satisfying mental habit that defies natural representation of nature. I delight in multi-layered fanciful natural forms, emphasized by texture, color and repetition.-
