Pendant: Outer Space 1 by Michaela Donsbach.Glass, meteorite, aluminum. 2013.6 x 6 cm.A low volume production of jewellery pieces is born. They show the viewer what kind of material meteorite is: rough, ferrous, crystalline, grown in the third dimension and ever-changing. . The glass is cut in a form which is based on a natural crystalline growth structure of gemstones. . . The meteorite is set elevated like a gemstone and the viewer is able to look at him from all sides. . These pendants are directly from „Outer Space“ and make the meteorite look like a superhero symbol which tries to show the origin of the meteorite. A journey back to where everything started..
