Join the Catalogue Launch Event of Out, the solo exhibition by Shirly Bar-Amotz, on Saturday, August 30 at 12:00 at the Geological Museum in Ramat Hasharon.
The exhibition features works that move seamlessly between jewelry, wearable sculptures, and autonomous objects—crafted from materials such as metal, enamel, silicone, plastic, stones, pearls, and ready-mades.
Through a bold and expressive craft language, recurring motifs emerge: animals, flowers, demons, monsters, medals, and political symbols. To add unique perspectives, four women from different disciplines were invited to select works directly from the artist’s studio, each bringing her own personal and professional lens. The resulting curatorial mosaic presents a wide-ranging and layered view of Shirly Bar-Amotz’s powerful and multifaceted body of work.
Join for the catalogue launch and celebrate this compelling journey through contemporary jewelry and sculptural art.
Lecture: Noy Alon.
Curator: Rachel Sasporta.
Catalogue & Invitation Design: Nurit Block.
