Trevor Anderson. Sculpture: Remember Not to Forget, 2020. Hand-forged, pattern-welded steel.. 8.9 x 1.3 x 1.3 cm. Statement: My show was comprised of a series of wearable and sculptural pieces constructed from hand-forged, pattern-welded “Damascus” steel, and woven Kevlar knit-wear. I employ materials that are encoded with a sense of conflict and trauma, while subverting the domesticity of knitted or crocheted objects. My worn pieces emphasize the notion of “the other,” in the context of contemporary masculinity.. Trevor Anderson

Intro
The Spring Show features the best work for the entire University, and under normal circumstances, the MA and MFA graduates would have a separate space at the OS venue to have their individual shows. Each Graduate student has a section to display their thesis work. This Covid year it was all digital, and inclusive.
